BETE coating nozzles provide the perfect mix of fine atomization and even coverage for spraying release agents onto molds. Precise distribution of the release agent is critical for molding applications to ensure a clean release of a quality product from the mold. BETE nozzles are manufactured to ensure reliability and consistency in all conditions and environments, no matter how hot or caustic.

Selecting a Mold Coating Nozzle:

Important factors to consider:

  • Available/required flow rate
  • Available pressure drop (∆P) across the nozzle
    • ∆P = supply pressure at nozzle inlet - process pressure outside nozzle
  • Viscosity and thickness of coating spray media
  • Required evenness/thickness of coating
  • Available nozzle mounting positions
  • Minimizing over-spray
  • Required coating thickness
  • Shape of mold
