Precise and reliable coating nozzles are an essential part of many conveyor-based manufacturing systems. BETE nozzles are useful for spraying a wide range of coatings onto manufactured goods. In the industrial field, coatings such as lubricants, glues, resins, epoxies, and release agents are commonly sprayed onto parts moving underneath a nozzle on a conveyor. BETE nozzles are designed to to ensure even spray distribution over the product and minimal waste of the coating solution.
 

Selecting a Conveyor Coating Nozzle:

Important factors to consider:

  • Speed of conveyor
  • Shape of products
  • Available/required flow rate
  • Available pressure drop (∆P) across the nozzle
    • ∆P = supply pressure at nozzle inlet - process pressure outside nozzle
  • Viscosity and thickness of coating spray media
  • Required evenness / thickness of coating
  • Continuous or intermediate operation
  • Available nozzle mounting positions
  • Minimizing over-spray
