BETE provides nozzles for every part of flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems, including FGD emergency quenching nozzles. In a FGD system, the flue gas has an optimal temperature to ensure the proper functioning of other components of the system. If the flue gas exceeds this temperature, emergency quenching nozzles spray water into the stream to cause evaporative cooling, avoiding damage to downstream equipment.
