HOW IS THE SPRAY PATTERN ACHIEVED?
The spiral nozzle forms its spray pattern from fluid shearing off the turns of the spiral. The design of a hollow cone spiral produces drops that project outward, creating a ring-shaped spray with less coverage in the center. The full cone spiral design generates concentric hollow cones, producing two to three bands of medium-sized droplets surrounded by wider bands of relatively fine droplets, delivering complete coverage.
Produces the smallest droplet size compared to whirl nozzles of the same flow and pressure drop for fine atomization.
