2nd shift, CNC Machinist

                                   
Summary: 

The primary role of the CNC Machinist is to create machine parts and tools using precision computer equipment. CNC (computer numerical control) Machinists set up, adjust, and maintain all equipment used in their daily job activities.

 
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage computer numeric controlled (CNC) equipment from setup to operation, producing parts and tools from different resources including metal and plastic.
  • Monitoring machinery, inspecting finished products, and leading test runs.
  • Implement quality procedures and process improvements to support world class quality manufacturing and customer service at a dynamic and growing company.

 Interpersonal Skills:

  • Ability to understand and follow written/verbal directions and work procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a small team.
  • Proven ability to take initiative.

 Technical Skills:

  • Ability to read and inspect to blueprints using standard tools and gauges.
  • Basic computer data entry skills.

1st shift, Shipper

                                   
Summary: 

As a shipping clerk, you will be responsible for receiving outside processed goods and vendor supplies in computer system and delivering them to their designated areas. ‚Äč

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Keep accuracy of inventory by counting nozzles and verifying the counts in the computer.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices. Advocate for process improvement.
  • Ability to use reference materials to identify parts, drawings charts, ISO shipping procedures etc. This will include creating shipping documents, verifying all parts and sku #'s in order, and pulling inventory from the shelves.
  • Monitor each shipment to make sure that outgoing packages are packed correctly and accurately.
  • Print shipping labels, schedule pick-ups, and ensure that each package has the proper postage.
  • Perform inventory control and track a shipment's delivery status.
  • Use of office equipment including scanners, postage machines, scales, and, in some cases, a forklift to perform these job duties.

 Interpersonal Skills:

  • Must have the ability to learn quickly and work independently, as well as multitask.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a small team.
  • Proven ability to take initiative.

 Technical Skills:

  • Present with good written and verbal communication, as well as basic math skills.
  • Basic computer data entry skills.

Working Environment:

  • Reports to the Shift Supervisor
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Stand for long periods of time, move around often, and lift items repeatedly.
  • Knowledge using FedEx, UPS, software packages.

Experience:

  • Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook) is important.
  • Effective interpersonal/Communication Skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Manufacturing Customer Service Representative

                                   
Summary: 

Provide the necessary services to support the sales process from beginning to end.  Customer Service is a core value, and our mission is to exceed customer expectations in every detail. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Manufacturing Customer Service Representative, with a demonstrated aptitude for working with technical, mechanical, and industrial products in a manufacturing environment. 
 


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact, customer facing spray solution specialist.
  • Reviewing and understanding complex and highly detailed customer bids and order contracts.
  • Negotiating terms and conditions with customers, as necessary.
  • Coordinating with the engineering staff to provide technical information and solutions.
  • Determine pricing for standard and special nozzles.
  • Processing complex and detailed orders and bids, which often includes working with Quality, Design, and Applications.
  • Monitoring order fulfillment and resolving any post-sales issues.

Supervisor of Bar Stock, Finishing, Inventory & Tool Crib

                                   
Summary: 

The role of the Supervisor of Bar Stock, Finishing, Inventory & Tool Crib is to oversee all personnel within your departments to ensure the work as well as the work environment(s) meet the standards of Safety and Quality. While maintaining required deadlines, utilizing resources efficiently ensuring profitability. The Supervisors responsibility to model behavior(s) that exemplify the values of BETE’s culture; including a sense of community, creativity, learning, trust, freedom, self-respect, and continuing to maintain a team-based environment.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inventory accuracy and report stock levels via regular reports and cycle counts as needed.
  • Maintain tool crib inventory levels and inventory accuracy.
  • Oversee all operations in inventory, finishing, tool crib and barstock areas.
  • Establish and maintain daily check-ins with each department to keep productivity and morale high while insuring timely problem solving of bottlenecks.
  • Consistently maintain high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products and processes conform to established customer and company quality standards and are in conformance with ISO procedures.
  • Ensure that employee new hire orientations include a review of Safety policies, BETE Personnel Policies, relevant hazardous waste communication programs and job specific responsibilities and ensure that you are well versed and current with these policies and procedures.
  • Uphold all BETE manufacturing ISO procedures.
  • Build capacity in all personnel in identifying, recommending and implementing changes that impact the bottom line, i.e. productivity, reduce cost and scrap, reducing set up time, etc.
  • Begin each shift with departmental huddles to relay key priorities and time sensitive information.
  • Participate in daily production planning meetings to insure on time deliveries and communicate key information to the appropriate personnel/department schedulers. 
  • Encourage employees to participate in overtime hours to meet production targets or otherwise adjust personnel assignments as required to meet the current workload. Advise and recommend solutions to coverage issues detected.
  • Ensure performance management through providing: ongoing coaching and feedback supported by systematic metrics and annual performance reviews.
  • Initiate disciplinary procedures with the Manager of Machine, Maintenance and Finishing and implement them with the HR Manager.
